MANIFESTO

Why we exist.

SMEs are 99% of all enterprises in Singapore. They employ 70% of the workforce. They generate nearly half of GDP. They are the economy.

And yet the software industry treats them as an afterthought. The tools built for large enterprises get repackaged, marked up, and sold to companies a fraction of the size — with the same complexity, the same recurring fees, and the same vendor lock-in. When the implementation fails, the vendor blames the client. When the client gives up, the vendor moves on.

Velo Working exists because this is broken.

We started in fabrication — wiring control panels, building harnesses, assembling PCBAs. We saw the same pattern on every factory floor: good companies held back by bad systems. Not because they couldn’t afford technology, but because nobody had ever implemented it properly for them.

Founded by Ronnie Yap — PMP certified, background in industrial fabrication, automation, and business operations systems. The company exists because he kept seeing the same problem and decided to stop complaining about it.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Good quality work should not be a luxury only big companies can afford.

SMEs deserve vendors who are honest about pricing.

The right operating system is the great equaliser for small companies.

The value is not in the software — it is in understanding your business process.

If a solution isn’t right for you, we’ll tell you.

Digitalisation is not optional anymore — it is survival.

Local SMEs don’t need to shrink. They need the right partner.

Built for the ones still standing.

Still standing?

Let’s talk about what’s broken and what it would take to fix it.
